Château Peybonhomme Les Tours Nouvelle Vigne 2021

$20.00

Rachel HUBERT is the fifth generation to manage this organic and biodynamic certified (since 2000) estate. While pursuing the family heritage, Rachel also emphasizes on modern cultural techniques (agroforestry, biodiversity protection) and the introduction of new cuvées. The vineyard is divided into two distinctive Châteaux (Peybonhomme-les-Tours & La Grolet) which both benefit from the local microclimate (the vines are located near the Gironde estuary). The vines are planted on slopes on clay-limestone soils, typical from the sub region of Côte de Bourg and 1ères Côtes de Blaye in Bordeaux. The biodynamic practices are leading the choices made both in the vineyard and in the cellar, with the aim to produce genuine, elegant, and terroir-driven wines within preserving the natural environment surrounding the estates. These different cuvées definitively reflect the commitment for organic and biodynamic viticulture as long as a new approach from Bordeaux traditional winemaking.
